Topic: Which creative force do you admire most?

Hi Everyone! I'd like to know about who inspires you professionally to reach your goals? Is there any actor/ musician/ artist/ writer or even politician (?!) who is just so amazing with what they do, or they've managed their career so well, you just have to give them kudos because they do what they've set out to do? This being the Christmas Season I took some of my own advice and talked with two of my senior colleagues. One was the chap who over a decade ago at least was kind enough to act surprised tnat I wasn't a full time actor. "Guys of your age and size who can even half carry a tune will get work, especially non-Equity," he told me. He was right and from the first NDTA audition I've rarely looked back. Thanks, David. The other is my surviving theatre prof. I had him for Acting and Scene Study for a double semester. I was in two of his mainstage productions as well, a Six Characters and She Stoops and in both a solid technique in stage voice was essential. He later gave the voice class and then I was his TA the next year. Were it not for that class I would not be able to even think of doing eight a week. Thanks Bill. Those guys were my creative forces because of what they didn't force but allowed me to do.

For me, the creative force comes up from within, like when I am mostly asleep, or at yoga class.

That takes alot of courage. One day I hope to be an actor, and be able to throw myself into any role given to me!
